CCTV Report | Turning Waste into Treasure! The secret to the magnificent transformation of cow dung and gutter oil
CCTV reports on the 5th Global Biomass Energy Innovation and Development Summit Forum and participating companies. Biogas new energy and diversified utilization of biomass energy will become an important direction for future energy development.
This is a cattle farm located in Fengning, Hebei Province. The garden style pasture and fresh air make tourists linger and forget to leave. However, this cattle farm was not like this a year ago. Just because of the issue of cow manure disposal, it was repeatedly summoned by the local environmental protection department and faced the risk of closure.
Just when the cattle farm was at a loss, a biomass energy company took the initiative to approach them.
During the interview, it was learned that a cow produces 60 kilograms of excrement per day. There are over a thousand cows here, and if the daily cow manure is not disposed of in a timely manner, it can be said to be piled up like a mountain. Just when the cattle farm was at a loss, a biomass energy enterprise took the initiative to come to the door and sent tanker trucks to free the cow manure every day, and the more, the better.
At present, this project can process 47500 tons of aquaculture waste and 2920 tons of crop straw annually. It can achieve an annual output of 4.38 million cubic meters of biogas, an annual power generation of 9 million kilowatt hours, an annual output of 14000 tons of organic fertilizer, and an annual carbon reduction of about 40000 tons. That is to say, what is transported here every day is stinky cow manure and straw, while what is transported out is clean electricity and green organic fertilizers. Here, agricultural and livestock waste is truly drained. Through technological innovation, biomass energy is driving China's traditional industries to accelerate the achievement of the "dual carbon" goal.
Experts say that under the guidance of achieving the "dual carbon" goal, the country has proposed to promote the co incineration of municipal sludge, biogas residue, concentrated liquid and other waste in domestic waste incineration facilities, in order to achieve the sharing of incineration treatment capacity. In addition, by excavating and incinerating stale garbage from landfills, it can effectively alleviate the scarcity of land resources and solve the problem of insufficient waste treatment capacity in incineration power plants. We have also explored a new treatment model for collaborative disposal of kitchen waste and industrial solid waste.
