Italian Delegation Visits Haiyue’s Large-Scale Biomass Biogas Project in Zhucheng
Recently, a delegation from Italy visited Zhucheng, Shandong Province, China, to inspect a large-scale biomass biogas project implemented by Qingdao Haiyue Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. This massive project includes two 2,000 m³ double-membrane gas holders, four 5,000 m³ assembled tanks, and a biogas production system with a daily processing capacity of 20,000 m³. It highlights Haiyue’s technical expertise and extensive experience in the biogas industry.

The project under inspection is one of the largest biomass biogas initiatives in Zhucheng and a benchmark for biomass energy utilization across Shandong Province. The core equipment includes two 2,000m³ double-membrane gas holders for stable storage and regulation of biogas, and four 5,000m³ assembled tanks for efficient raw material fermentation. The system is designed to process 20,000m³ of biogas daily, providing clean and sustainable energy while significantly reducing the environmental impact of agricultural waste.
With nearly 20 years of extensive experience, Qingdao Haiyue has established a strong leading position in biogas equipment manufacturing, system design, and project implementation. The Italian delegation expressed great interest in the project, particularly impressed by Haiyue’s innovations in gas holder membranes, assembled tank design, and automated control systems. This visit not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for potential future collaboration.
As global demand for renewable energy continues to grow, biomass biogas technology is gaining broader recognition as a vital component of green energy. Through this project, Haiyue is not only delivering economic and environmental benefits to the local community but also demonstrating the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in the biomass energy sector.
