The biogas holder project for landfill
In China, the primary method for urban waste disposal has been sanitary landfilling, which has gradually evolved into ecological landfilling. Sanitary landfilling refers to a method of waste disposal that controls landfill leachate and landfill gases. Typically, it involves anti-seepage measures such as using artificial liners at the bottom of the landfill and vertical impermeable walls around the site that connect with natural impermeable layers. This creates an independent water system under the landfill site, preventing groundwater contamination. Leachate is generally collected through pipes and either treated directly or sent to urban wastewater treatment plants. Landfill gases contain a significant amount of methane, carbon dioxide, and other trace components. Without appropriate collection and treatment systems, these gases accumulate within the landfill and can escape through the cover layer or sidewalls, posing significant risks to the surrounding environment and human health.
The double membrane gas holder produced by Qingdao Haiyue Membrane Structure has been widely used in landfill biogas projects across the country. Here are some usage examples for your reference.
